The ideas of feminine symbolism of the Moon date back to Greek mythology and indigenous people’s culture. The very essence of female nature is a convincing testament to this connection. Through the enduring motion, the Moon shifts its phases, and these changes reach the Earth. With the sunlight, it reflects the transformative aspect of a woman, the serene, yet assured power — fundamental qualities of the SS’24 design.

The silhouettes of the dresses, skirts, and tops follow the body curves. The cutouts are inspired by the variations of the Moon’s form. The full moon is featured on a t-shirt printed using the discharge printing technique, and in the decor of a cardigan — these are among the few oversized items in the collection. The long-sleeved top is distressed with the laser perforation reminiscent of the pattern of the Moon craters.

Knitted items are produced from organic cotton, while semi-sheer materials blur the line between subtle and bold. Denim and jersey undergo custom bleaching and dyeing to achieve a unique look. The outfits start with new lingerie styles and are finished with Napa leather accessories and jewelry with 24K gold plating. Elegance unfolds its edgy potential.

The design contains a wide stylistic spectrum, from grunge to classic elements, from staple t-shirts to feathers-embellished jacket, which can also become an everyday essential. In the new Katimo collection, a woman embraces her multifaceted complexity, integrates, and explores it with curiosity. She equally values her light and dark sides, as they are just the different perspectives of staying true to herself.
