Contemporary ceramic artist Sofiia Horbachevska aka Sofika draws her inspiration from the shapes of the world, from the contours of a woman\u2019s body, its rhythms, and plasticity. With the same excitement, Sofiia approaches the body of clay, which is initially formless, yet reveals itself through the process of sculpting.<\/p>\n
Our collaboration results in three types of vases for fresh and dried flowers. Flowing, dynamic silhouettes symbolize the harmony of the material and the absence of it. The shapes are embodied in both clay and the space between the lines. Each vase is crafted by hand with the coiling technique.
